Black Label Jack Daniels is the most
widely sold of all the Jack Daniels brands, it accounts for 97% of
all Jack Daniel's sold and is available in many different countries
around the world. Black Label was launched by Lem Motlow (Jack Daniels
nephew) after the death of Jack Daniel
In 1911. It was bottled after 5-6 years at 130 proof after
1938 when prohibition came to an end in Kentucky ,and Lem Motlow was given
permission to make Whiskey again it was bottled at 90 proof
after which was only changed again in 1998 to 86 proof (80 Proof is
available but in only in three States of the USA and in Canada).
The Black Label's I am
interested in are, the Paper Seals, The Fake Seals and the Glossy
Seals including the Block Lettering and the latest Heritage
Series (also known as the Dan Call series)
