Gentleman Jack is my Favourite of all the Jack Daniel's Brands. Gentleman Jack is made using the finest
grain and iron-free cave water from Jack Daniel's own spring. It is the only Jack Daniel's brand to be
charcoal mellowed twice, once before it goes into the barrel and again afterwards when fully
matured. This gives the whiskey a real smooth taste.
Gentleman Jack was released in 1988 and since then, there have been four different bottle shapes (known as
Generations). First Generation bottles were used from 1988 till 1991 when the bottles were changed
to the Second Generation . These Second Generation bottles were used till 1998 then changed to the
Third Generation. The Fourth Generation (available now in the USA) is replacing the Third Generation
and was released in February 2007.
